TPC: Chochloma

   Colors of this month match the colors of traditional Russian ornament named "Chochloma". And I certainly thought about it and decided to give it a try :) 
   Actually the colors of chochloma is red, green and gold but I think that yellow is fine too :)
   This is how it looks when masters do it :)
   And the photos below are my interpretation:

  5. Well I also was fascinated by the beautiful lacquered boxes. I bought two of them: one was inspired by the figure of Vasilisa the Beautiful. The second one (my favourite) shows some little robins, but I do not know which fairy tale is inspired by.
