Hello
everyone!!
Not so long ago I was nominated for the Leibster award by Alexandria from A girl and her
chicken named Betty !!! My big thanks to her for this pleasure!!
I saw this award in other blogs many times. But when I was nominated myself I thoght: "What does this award actually mean?" ))
You can skip this part if you have already ask yourself about it :)
Well the Liebster Blog Award it is a German award (Liebster meaning; adj. favourite, preferred above others; liked or loved above others) and is given to bloggers by bloggers.
The original rules are:
- to
link back to the blogger who gave you the award
- to
place the Liebster Blog ♥ image on your blog, and
- to
nominate 3-5 other bloggers with less than 3,000 readers.
As you know (or may not) the rules aren't the same now. Now we also have to:
- answer 11 questions given to us by the blogger from which we were nominated.
- share 11 random facts about ourselves.
- nominate 5-11 up and coming bloggers with fewer than 200 followers(I think some creative blogger who had less than 200 followers REALLY wanted this award! :) Otherwise I can't imagine how it went from 3,000 readers to 200 :)))
- generate 11 questions to be answered by those we nominate
- contact your nominees to let them know the news.

Here are Alexandria's questions and my answers:
1. What is your favourite book or book series?
I really like to read so I have many favourite books. First than come to my mind were: Pride and prejudice by Jane Austen, The Moonstone by Wilkie Collins and certainly Harry Potter book series.

2. What was the most complicated nail design you've attempted in the past?
Different geometric designs are difficult for me to do because I can't do them well with my non-dominant hand and I want my both hand to look similar :) So when the mani requests a lot of streight lines or clear patterns - it's a big stress for me :))
3. If you could only wear different shades of one color for the rest of your life, what color would you choose?
I think it would be red color. It is bright and looks great with different outfits.
4. Where's the farthest you've ever travelled from home?
The farthest place was Egypt where I went with my husband for the honeymoon.
5. What's your favorite sweet?
Milk chocolate and ice-cream.
6. If you could go back to any day in times past and re-live it, what day would you go to?
If you mean to change something than none. But I would like to go to any day of my first trip to Crimea in 2006! It was so exciting and remembering!
7. What's your most regretted purchase (or something you passed up on), and your best purchase?
Ohh! I have big problems with the shoes! They don't hold on my feet. I think my feet are strangely constructed so I can wear only strap shoes :((( And as you can guess I tried to buy different kinds of shoes but.. :(((
I can't remember any best purchase... evidently I'm not so emotional in buying things :)
8. What's your favourite piece of jewelry that you own?
I don't really like jewelry (I mean golden things with jewels). I think it comes with the age and you need a lot of money to buy it :)). But I really like different bijouterie. Mostly I wear a thin silver chain with different pendants.
9. Do you cook or bake, and what's your favourite thing to make or eat?
I don't like cooking :) But I am a wife and a mother therefore I have to do it. I like only to make different soups because they are easy do make :) I don't know about you but in Russia soup is an ordinary lunch meal so I cook them very often. Usually it is a chicken soup with different vegetables.
10. Do you picture yourself continuing to blog for a long time into the future?
There are so many talented nail bloggers that I get inspiration every day. And I hope it won't change in future. And I surely want to improve my skills.
11. What was the last polish you bought?
Different geometric designs are difficult for me to do because I can't do them well with my non-dominant hand and I want my both hand to look similar :) So when the mani requests a lot of streight lines or clear patterns - it's a big stress for me :))

ReplyDeleteThank you, sweetie! :)
DeleteAhh massive congratulations to you for the award! It's about time! ;) Thank you very much again, for delegating me as well :D I appreciate it very much! :)
ReplyDeleteHehe!! Soup are almost a daily thing for me here too. We have all sorts of varieties! Sometimes chicken herbal soups, erm pork or goats ahahaahaha! Even simple ones like anchovies with carrots (that's my quick meal fix, toss in noodles with that ahahahaha!) ;)
You are always welcome!!) Goats?! Wow! And how is that taste?
Deletepretty similar to beef, I think :D I'm not too sure how to make it, though I remember most of what goes in it. There were carrots (triangle-ish shapes), big onions ermm and mutton meat (boneless) seasoned with peppers. It was my dear grandfather's recipe. He puts them all in a slow cooker. How I missed it! It was and is still my favouritest soup :D
